Today, we are launching the new and improved Walker app to make your smart waste sensor installation process even easier.

What’s New:

• A fresh and more user-friendly look

• More installation instructions and explainers

• Field diagnostics and statuses

After logging into the Walker app, you’ll find some new buttons. Read below to see what each button does and how it will help your installations:

Check Sensor – This now provides more details on your sensors' current state and diagnostics.

Install Sensor – This replaces the “Install Container” button and provides a more automized and intuitive installation process. Installers should use this button when installing new sensors in new containers.

Replace Sensor – This provides a smoother experience when replacing sensors. Installers can use this button to replace a broken sensor with a new sensor while keeping the data for the container.

Uninstall Sensor – This replaces the “Unpair Sensor” button. Installers should use this button to uninstall and remove a sensor from a container. If you are using the new Nordsense sensors, this button can also be used to deactivate the sensor and thereby save battery power.

Your Walker app should update automatically. Please make sure that your phone is running the latest version of iOS or Android.
